Who is Annalissa Crisostomo (She/Her)?

I am an educator, researcher, and doctoral student with 12+ years experience in community education and engagement.

 

She is passionate about the transformative power of creativity and the arts to foster learning, social change and healing. She currently studies in the Adult Education and Community Development program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto with a focus on critical pedagogies, creative empowerment, and arts-based advocacy. Her research examines how self-organized community arts collectives cultivate radical healing and radical imagination within community learning spaces.

 

When she’s not working, Annalissa enjoys walking her dog, watching competition shows, and creating digital collages and poetry.
